New storage system is designed to protect and hide cable boxes in front of cardio equipment

The Broadcastvision Entertainment Cable Box Storage System (BVE-CBSS) can be purchased as a standalone system or additional raceway, and device boxes can be added. The storage unit is available in slate grey, and the track covers are available in slate grey or brushed aluminum. The complete unit is very low profile and is only 24” long, 6” wide, and 4.5” high. The box is designed to store the smaller DTA boxes recommended by most major cable providers. The system is very flexible, and it includes a two-gang device box, allowing you to choose the receptacles needed. It also has a brushed insert at the top of the cable box enclosure, allowing you to run multiple cable types. In addition to storing cable boxes, the system can also store extenders and the popular CAB (console adapter box) from Broadcastvision Entertainment.
The CAB (Console Adapter Box) provides club owners the flexibility, increased channel line-up, and cost savings of set-top box operation and frees exercisers from the need to use hand-held remote controls. Developed in 2011, the CAB is compatible with major brand cardio equipment and allows the cardio equipment TV controls to operate the individual cable box. “Our CAB solution solves a big problem in the fitness industry with the control of cable boxes but the storage of cable boxes has been a challenge for the majority of fitness centers,” says Mark Blake, COO of Broadcastvision Entertainment. “Our Cable Box Storage System is very low profile, and not only solves the problem with protecting and hiding the DTA cable boxes but is also designed to store our CAB product and extenders if they are needed.
